Sankagiri Rajkumar, a graduate and the protagonist of the story, leaves his village for Chennai with his loving uncle’s (Dad’s yonger brother) blessings to learn about cinema and become a director. He then goes to producers’ offices, pitching his story in hopes of getting a chance to direct a film. Meanwhile, his mother takes her brother-in-law’s horoscope to a astrologer in their village, who is well-respected for his words. The astrologer tells her that the horoscope indicates bad times and that the person will end up begging. Sankagiri Rajkumar’s uncle, who is already under mental stress, takes his own life upon hearing this.

Sankagiri Rajkumar returns to his village, mourning his uncle’s death. He realizes that his uncle’s death was a result of blind faith and ignorance. He decides to make a film about his uncle’s story to spread awareness about the dangers of blind faith and to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. To make the film, Sankagiri Rajkumar sells his family’s livestock and even his house to fund the project. The astrologer, who is actually a fake, tries to stop Sankagiri Rajkumar from making the film by creating obstacles and even attempting to kill him.

In the end, Sankagiri Rajkumar faces a major challenge as he needs a significant amount of money to release the film. He is forced to sell his family’s only source of income, their land, to release the film. The rest of the story revolves around what happens next.

Sankagiri Rajkumar, the protagonist of the story, has delivered a neat performance. The rest of the cast, including Vellaiyammal, Muththayi, Muthusami, Kuppusamy, S.M. Manickam, Indrani, S.M. Sentilkumar, Sivarathinam, Periyasami, Mohanapriya, Thangaraj, Dharmaselvan, Namachivayam, Rajesh Krishnan, Ranjith, and Nila, have not acted but have brought out the natural comedic talent within them. Their angry dialogues and actions have added humor to the film, keeping the audience entertained. The special appearances by Actor Sathyaraj and Director Cheran have added extra strength to the film. The technical team, including Murali Ganesh’s cinematography, Sangakiri Rajkumar’s editing, and Tajnoor’s music, have done their jobs perfectly, bringing out the authentic charm of the village and its moments on screen.

What happens when a village decides to make a film with talent and advanced equipment? Director Sankagiri Rajkumar has narrated the struggles, hardships, and pains faced by the film industry professionals to make a movie, with an engaging comedy that attracts the audience. He has cleverly used real village elders, who are unaware of the film’s storyline, to make the film a special one.
