TEN HOURS Movie Review by MATHIOLI RAJAA

“Ten Hours” Movie produced by Latha Balu – Durgaini Vinoth under the banner of Duvin Studios Pvt Ltd, Directed by Ilayaraja Kaliyaperumal, Starring by Sibi Sathyaraj, Gajaraj, Raj Ayyappa, “Aadukalam” Murugadass, Dileepan, “Pazhaya Joke” Thangadurai, Kpy Kuroshi, Sharumisha, Niranjana & Many Others.

“The film begins with the kidnapping of a young woman, prompting her mother and grandfather to file a complaint at the police station. Inspector Sibi Sathya immediately launches an investigation based on their report. As Sibi Sathyaraj is investigating the woman’s kidnapping case, the control room receives a shocking phone call. A man informs the authorities that a woman is being assaulted on a private bus and requests help to rescue her.”

“Upon receiving this information, the police intercept the bus at a checkpoint. When Inspector Sibi Sathyaraj enters the bus to investigate, he finds the man who made the phone call to the control room lying dead inside. The series of shocking events unfolds: a young woman was kidnapped, a woman was allegedly assaulted on the bus, and now the informant is found dead. The rest of the story revolves around whether Sibiraj can uncover the truth behind these incidents and identify the person responsible.”

“Although hero Sibi Sathyaraj has played the role of a police officer in many films, he has showcased a slightly different performance in Ten Hours. He excels in the character of Castro, a principled officer who believes in showing no mercy to those who defy justice. His portrayal of investigating a case is also commendable. The performances of Raj Ayyappa and Gajaraj are also noteworthy. Director Ilayaraja Kaliyaperumal has chosen a thrilling plot for his directorial debut, demonstrating his bold storytelling choice.”

“After watching the trailer, many felt that the film’s single-night setting and Sibi Sathyaraj’s appearance gives life to the movie. The director’s choice of storyline and screenplay is commendable, the film could been made as more engaging and thrilling. Some of the investigative dialogue delivered by Sibi Sathyaraj felt excellent at times, he improved his character by his overall experience.”

“Moreover, in a thriller, the antagonist plays a crucial role. However, the film’s major plus point is that the bus driver character had more depth and impact than the main villain. The background score is a strong point for the film, helping to maintain tension and prevent the pacing from sagging. The editing is tighter to enhance the entire movie. The cinematography is gives tremendous life.”

“‘Ten Hours’ is a commendable thriller that will appeal to fans of the genre. Although the scenes move at a brisk pace technically, the writing and screenplay make ‘Ten Hours’ feel like a speedy journey.”
