With the help of an Chennai auto driver, they settle into a rented house. In Chennai, Saravanan struggles to make ends meet by pasting cinema posters to support his daughter’s education.
One day, while picking up his daughter from school, she complains of vaginal bleeding and pain. Premji rushes her to the hospital, where the doctor (Deepa Shankar) informs him that Boomika has reached puberty. However, the medical examination reveals that she has been sexually abused without her knowledge. Saravanan is shattered by this revelation. His daughter, determined to prevent others from going through the same ordeal, wants to find and kill the perpetrator to heal her physical and emotional wounds.
The rest of the story revolves around identifying the culprit and exacting justice.
Premji, known for his comedic roles, delivers a powerful and emotional performance as a father in this film. His portrayal of a father’s love, vengeance, and innocence is commendable. She excels in scenes where she eagerly waits for her father to attend her school dance performance and when she confides in her father about her trauma, asking him to find and kill the perpetrator. Her emotional scenes are impactful and memorable.
